His creative foundation began at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he developed a strong understanding of visual culture, luxury branding, and fashion-driven storytelling — principles that continue to define the company’s work today.

 

Before expanding into creative direction and commercial beauty, Sterling built his career in luxury production, rising to Head of Production while overseeing private-label cashmere development for internationally recognized retailers including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue. That experience cultivated a meticulous eye for presentation, quality, and brand identity — elements that now shape every aspect of the Sterling Reality LLC experience.
